Privacy

We use trip details to calculate and save the result you request. Saved snapshots may include origin, destination, dates, traveler counts, travel style and prices you enter.

We do not require an account. First-party analytics use anonymous session and attempt identifiers to understand calculator reliability. We do not intentionally collect names, payment details or precise location through the calculator.

Our hosting platform derives an approximate country, region and city from the network connection of each request, and we record that coarse location with our first-party analytics to understand where traffic comes from. It is approximate, can be wrong, and is not GPS or an address you entered. Our analytics store does not keep your IP address, coordinates, postal code or street address. As with any website, infrastructure providers such as our host and database provider do process and may log connection data, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the service.

The calculator also uses only the country of that connection, for this request alone, to suggest a starting point for “Where are you travelling from?”. The suggestion is never saved by this feature, is easy to change, and is not used for your nationality, passport, tax residence or SIM country. If it is missing or unrecognised, you simply choose a country yourself.

Saved results are stored in our application database so your shareable link works. Do not enter sensitive personal information into free-text fields.
